On Friday the “Progress” deejay finally dropped a viral video for his much anticipated single, “Dancehall Prophecy,” after weeks of teasing it to fans on social media.
The track sees the Gully Gad finally address his recent shooting incident, as well as deliver an emotional tribute to his teenage son who is currently behind bars awaiting trial for murder.

Despite their competitive rivalry over the years, sources claim that Mavado and Vybz Kartel have actually maintained a good friendship, with the “Fever” deejay actually giving his blessing for the photo to be used.

“Pon a serious not still David, be careful breda one #Alliance we a forward from… Everybody claim [them] heartless but [you must] know we no trust people,” the deejay posted to Instagram.
Mavado’s “Dancehall Prophecy,” which is produced by Justus Records, has already racked up over 65 thousand views on VEVO since its release on Friday. The track is largely regarded as a response to his haters and former mentor Bounty Killer who lashed out against him on Instagram.
